FRENCH FUN at WINE AUTHORITIES NEW RALEIGH STORE with JO MAEDER and THE SABBATICAL CHEF
211 East Franklin Street
Raleigh
Voted the #1 wine shop in the Triangle year after year, the oenophiles and gourmands at WINE AUTHORITIES have opened a store in Raleigh to complement their Durham flagship. We’ll be celebrating that, the new rosés and other wines from the South of France, and the release of OPPOSITES ATTACK: A Novel with Recipes Provencal! Lots of prizes, too. South of France kind of prizes. Everyone will be given a raffle ticket. Wearing a beret gets you two. We’ll also have samples of food from the recipes in the book, like wild boar daube and pissaladiere made by yours truly and Teresa Engebretsen, a.k.a. The Sabbatical Chef. She’ll be there fresh from her recent trip to France. Did you know Wine Authorities carries lots of artisan cheeses including those of France? I can taste the triple crème brie already. Bring friends and spread the joie de vivre! Spring is here at last.
If you’d like a signed copy of OPPOSITES ATTACK and can’t make the soiree, or to reserve your copy to be signed at the event, contact Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh. 919.828.1588 or 800.672.6789. You can do the same for the new version of WHEN I MARRIED MY MOTHER that’s just out with the famous cookie recipe (in addition to lots of other extras). It makes a great Mother’s Day gift. Oh, forgot to mention, OPPOSITES ATTACK also has a sneak peek at the next novel: NAKED DJ.
